Can't install OpenVPN AS plugin in (2.0.13)

Hello,

As the subject says, I'm having trouble installing the OpenVPN AS plugin on my server running Openmediavault 2.0.13.

Here is the error message I get:

I've checked the output of "dpkg --get-selections | grep hold", but I had no held packages.

BTW, I don't have the other OpenVPN plugin installed, and I've done purge commands on both plugins just in case.

It might not be in the Stoneburner repo yet. We see what Aaron says. The plugin might be and not the package.

The plugin was in the repo but the package wasn't. Fixed now.

They both show what cpu do you have?

In OMV Extras did you enable the VPN repo in the remote section???

I have the same problem, the WebUI reports OMV-Extras.org as installed. The VPN options under the Remote section of Plugins is enable yet no plugin is available and using apt-cache show i can't find any openvpnas-related packages

Is this version openvpn-as-2.0.24-Debian7.amd_64 good for Odroid C1+ ? Yet i can't find a plugin for omv

They do not have ARM packages for OpenVPN Access Server. You need to use the openmediavault-openvpn plugin.

This plugin was taken out of the repo because it wasn't working on arm systems. If you want to try it, download it from here. For future reference, if the package says amd64, it will NEVER work on arm though.

Thank you, if you are saying the plugin is not working than i'll trust you. Do you have a suggestion regarding a possible alternative or do you know if it will ever be fixed?

I know the current work on it includes testing on armhf but I don't know much more than that.

That is the package that the plugin uses but there is more to it than that. Not sure why the current plugin doesn't work on arm.

Could you suggest me how should i proceed ? Should i install 2.2.1-8+deb7u3: armhf and then the plugin? (the openvpn one not the as). Is it correct?

Uh, why would you do that? There is an issue with the plugin (not the openvpn package) causing it to not work on armhf. There is nothing you can do to fix this. You will just have to wait until the plugin is fixed or configure the openvpn package manually.
