I have some advices regarding map the network drive for Windows.
To make the drive persistent, user need to go to My Computer or This PC, depend on the OS, and map a network drive from there.
A lot remains to be done and mapping an OMV share to a Windows drive is a needed addition. There's lots of sections to add like Rsync (what it is - how to use it), Remote Mount, etc.
For now, the guide is a place to start.
