The open network attached storage solution

    Hi,

I have setup omv 5.0.5 on a proxmox 6.0.5 and I can mount and work with 1 of 3 shares.

Mounting a 2nd or 3rd share results in
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting (null)

mounting the /export results in 3 directories but the content is all from the 1st share...

Upon examination of the log file on the server I found a log entry stating "using the same filehandle ... using first"

the /etc/export file looks like this:
    /export/share1 192.168.180.0/24(fsid=1,rw,subtree_check,insecure)
    /export/share2 192.168.180.0/24(fsid=1,rw,subtree_check,insecure)
    /export/share3 192.168.180.0/24(fsid=1,rw,subtree_check,insecure)
    # NFSv4 - pseudo filesystem root
    /export 192.168.180.0/24(ro,fsid=0,root_squash,no_subtree_check,hide)

Note the fsid=1 being the same for all 3 entries...

I am not a NFS specialist but should that not read 1,2 & 3...?

    Suggested temporary fix?

    Regards

    Peter

    Guten Abend,
    Mfg Schmidt

Hello, I don't speak English. I write via translator.
I see it is a new OMV5 but as I found it has not solved the problems with BTRFS at all.
As you can see in the attached picture, I see almost no information about the repository. Although it works and has shared folders.
The first question is: Can I fix it to show the list correctly?
And the second question: Can I use UDEV or something else to set up hard disk names (sdaa, sdab, sdba, sdbb) for easier organization.
And please for specific advice, not a link to the archwiki.
I've been looking for a long time, and I've never found anything serious.
I am an old MS Windows user and I chose OMV because Windows Home Server is out of date.

Thank you all for your advice :)
