For my MicroNas project I bought 3 of these STEA4000400. In the expansion drive case there are whitelabeled ST4000LM024. Here in Germany prices start at 90€ each. This is the cheaper way to get the ST drives from Seagate but be aware that you loose…

Problem - it is impossible to select the device on which we create the shared resource This is most likely due to the fact that on the laptop with which WD My Cloud is configured, Windows is installed. If you go over SSH to WD My Cloud and type the…

Hi wolf8auer, Thanks and feel free using the design. The speed depends on the file size and network used. On ethernet I saw max rates of 120MB/s in Windows explorer but most of the time it is below 60MB/s via wifi it is even lower... Don't expect too…

if you use letsencrypt docker you don't have to expose any ports of nextcloud or mariadb in the host. The containers communicate via the internal docker network (if they are connected there, which they should)

Agreed. For mariadb, you can map ports: 3306:3306. Letsencrypt is the web server ported outside and should own 443 and 80. For me, I would map something like 2443:443 and 2080:80. Have your router route ports 443:2443 and 80:2080 respectively. That…
