problems with plugins especially plex

- OMV 2.x

What did you do before the loss of access? Did you manually update it?
-
I did no manual update. But i had the general update issue from the sticky thread. Plex was also not playing videos anymore but music worked still.
When I try to remove the plugin over the GUI it says it its not installed and therefore not removed -
-
But i had the general update issue from the sticky thread.
What do you mean by this???? What sticky thread??? Give a link to it. 95 percent of the people that have an issue with Plex are upgrading to an Ubuntu package. In the UI of plex when you get the upgrade available message you cannot upgrade via the link on that message. You should always upgrade via the Update Manager in OMV's web GUI.
apt-get --purge remove openmediavault-plexmediaserver
apt-get --purge remove plexmediaserverThen reinstall via the plugin section of OMV.
-
that one....I did no update on the plex UI

That has nothing to do with Plex. Give results of these:
dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
cat /etc/debian_version -

Can you give more specs on your machine and your system drive.
-
machine is an old office Pc
AMD X2 545
boot drive Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 160GB -
No ideas?

-
I tried to deinstall Pyload and it shows the same problem as the other plugins....
-
Unplug you data drives and leave just your system drive installed. Then install OMV with a Stoneburner ISO. You have to many things not right. It will not take that long to get things up an running with a fresh install. After reinstall you can turn off machine and reconnect data drives.
Here is link to Stoneburner ISOs:

thats what I feared...but alright

-
Things should go much better for you afterwards.
