Raid1 is missing after reboot

  • Hello,

    I installed OMV 2.1 on my ASRock Q1900DC-ITX. I created a Raid1 on my 2 x 3TB WD Red (sda+sdb). Everything was working fine.
When I reboot the system, the Raid isn't visible any more, but the physical devices are still there.
The File-System for the Raid (Ext4) says:

    Label n/a
    status missing

I boot the system from an USB-Stick (/dev/sdc).
When I Create A new(?) Raid1 in the Rais management (~7h), the Data on the Raid-System is back.
When I reboot then, the Raid-Configuration is gone.

    I hope for some Ideas
    thx ede

    the boot-log

  • I have exactly same problem on same motherboard. I firstly thought it's casued by LVM as I have found a thread which describes an issue with LVM and software RAID1.
Once I have created new RAID without LVM I have shutdown the server and power it up. Once system has booted my RAID1 was gone.
anyone has the idea what the problem can be?
    Regards,

  • I've the same Problem.
Using an USB-Stick for the file system and two WD 3TD Red Drives.
Only the Mainboard is a different one form ASUS.

This is a part of the syslog
