Raid1 and OS disk failure ?

    Hi!



    Im thinking about build my own NAS, but i have a question with RAID, i have 3 disks, 1 - for OS, 2 & 3 - RAID1 (software raid in OMV) for storage.
    What happened when OS disk break? When i reinstall OS on new disc OMV recognize RAID1 on two discs?

    Yes, if the system drive fails you unplug the data cables on the 2 RAID 1 drives. You then install a new system drive and install OMV on it. Then shutdown the system and reconnect the 2 RAID 1 drives. Start the system and you will see the filesystem from the RAID 1 in the web GUI filesystem section. Then you can mount it.
