Also after every change in fstab I assume you unmount and mount again the share.

Looks fine, as a change you can try an move the mount point to a folder in your home location (/home/snofla/Desktop/windowshare). Also use explicit credentials in the fstab. This just as a change, to check if it works better.
You are absolutely right, just created /home/snofla/Desktop/windowshare and changed the fstab a new sudo mount -a did the trick now I can open the files from the NAS, but what the heck is then wrong? Is it really the mnt/windowsshare/ but I have no idea why.

Might have to do with who owns the windowshare folder in /mnt before the mount. Check the permissions there, though I did mention this before, but apparently didn't work
