Emby spielt keine Videos ab, zeigt keine Bilder an

    Hallo,
    ich habe da mal wieder ein problem. Und zwar habe ich vor kurzem Emby entdeckt und auf meinem Windows PC ausprobiert.
    Nun wollte ich das ganze mal im Netzwerk testen und sogleich über die OMV-Extras Repo installiert


    Jedoch habe ich ein problem, und zwar werden absolut keine Bilder angezeigt und die Wiedergabe im Browser scheint auch nicht zu funktionieren



    Dabei habe ich schon wirklich alles mögliche probiert und Google liefert dazu auch nichts


    Probiert:
    - Emby mehrmals neuinstalliert und die Datenbank auf den verschiedenen Datenträgern installiert
    - Den user Emby in die Gruppe users hinzugefügt
    - alle ACLs zurückgesetz
    - den user Emby in den ACLs schreib und lese zugriffe gegeben
    - Emby - Metadata diverse Einstellungen probiert


    Jedoch nichts. Nach 6 Std probiererei hatte ich keine Lust mehr und dann OMV neu installiert.


    Jetzt wieder alles eingerichtet und Emby installiert, jedoch sieht es immer noch genau so aus wie davor
    An Plugins läuft jetzt nur SSH und Samba


    Was auch noch ganz komisch ist, sobald ich versuche ein Film anzuspielen, startet der Prozess ffmpeg und braucht 100% Auslastung, er stoppt auch nicht mehr von alleine



    In meinem Testfilmordner sind genau 3 Filme, also auf das einscannen kann man das wirklich nicht schieben....
    Was kann ich jetzt noch probieren?

    ACLs habe ich nur als aller letzte Anlaufstelle benutzt. Ich arbeite sonst nur mit Privilegien :). Das System ist ja jetzt wieder frisch installiert, und ACLs habe ich auch nochmal zurückgesetzt....

    Wie gut ist dein Englisch???


    Do solltest nur 1 Emby Prozess haben, das ist komisch.
    Are you using one of the Union filesystems like AUFS or MHDDFS ???

    Vor der neuinstallation stand bei emby "users" dran, da ich emby manuel da hinzugefügt habe um zu probieren ob das geht...

    KG, you made your shared folder wrong on this drive. When you installed Emby it inherited the users group instead of nogroup. (Edit: I look at this and it should still work)


    Can you show me your shared folders in the shared folder section and your shares in SAMBA???


    There has to be something wrong with your media folder. Even from your settings above it should work but it is not reading your media folder. What is the path to your media folder?

    Vor OMV hatte ich einen Ubuntuserver. Nach der OMV - Installation habe ich einfach alles probiert um meine Laufwerke und Freigaben zum laufen zu bringen. Erst später habe ich gelesen das ACLs nicht notwendig sind, da habe ich dann meinen Server platt gemacht und neu installiert. Und jedes mal die ACLs gelöscht....

    Did you bring this Western Digital Red drive from the Ubuntu server???
    Emby is installed on /sdb1 yes?


    Are your movies on the RED drive? This disk was not formatted in OMV.

    but i changed the whole hardward. This is actually my "testing" system with synchronised data from my external drives

    OK, tell me what folders you are trying to test in Emby????


    On another issue. This "Daten" folder in your shared folders is messing things up. It is at the root of the WD RED and ruining the perms with everything below it. You should never put a share at the root of the drive. It is not good idea unless you really know what you are doing.

    And do you have a lot of data on this WD RED???


    It would be a lot cleaner it we purge Emby.
    Then delete all the shares in SAMBA and then the shared folders.


    Then reinstall Emby. Make a good media shared folder. Then you move your data into it.


    My daughter is calling me. I have to go. It would be really good to get a clean start on this RED drive.

    Ich werde anfangen meine Daten zu sichern, falls der Platz nicht reichen sollte, kaufe ich eine zweite WD RED
    Wenn das alles fertig ist, werde ich mich nochmal melden :)

    Ich habe nun alle Daten gesichert und meine WDRed formatiert.


    Ich habe alles so wie in deinem Tutorial gemacht, jedoch funktioniert es immer noch nicht! :(
    Es ist alles genau so wie auf den oberen Bildern
    Was mich wundert: Mit Plex hat es vor der Formatierung funktioniert.
