change home-directory for syncthing

  • Hello,

I was reading trough the syncthing docs and would like to change the home-directory (where the syncthing index is stored) to my data-drive.

What would be the best way to do this'? Edit the file under /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/syncthing ? Or use a symlink?

Maybe if there are some other people who would find this useful, someday this could be an option in the webgui.

You can already put it on the data drive. The plugin uses the home directory set for the user in /etc/passwd. Just set the home directory for your users (User -> Setting) to be on the data directory or manually change the home directory using usermod.
