Webgui not working anymore

Hello, after i login into my system, the screen is blank.

i tried to reinstall, but:

The problem started, after i followed the decription of installing owncloud and upgraded on 8.
That was not working for me, then i deleted the plugin and now the webgui is broken.

Can anyone help please?

See if apache was enabled with this:
service apache2 status

If it is do this:
service apache2 stop
update-rc.d -f apache2 remove
service nginx restart

if it does not start tell me what it says.

Also, did you try clearing your browser cache?

Go through all these commands in order even if some fail:

apt-get --purge remove owncloud
service apache2 stop
update-rc.d -f apache2 remove
service php5-fpm restart
service nginx start

You didn't purge owncloud. Also, the owncloud package was not finished installing. We finished it then purged it. Then did the other steps.

Hi Tekkb,

I'm using a VM to test upgrading Owncloud to the last version of version 7 (version 7.0.11 I think). I've tried to update your Owncloud 7 installation instructions here and have had success so far. My problem is after upgrading Owncloud I can log into OMV but I only see a blank white screen like what's being discussed in the thread above. Do you know what's causing this problem and how to fix it, or could you possibly update your installation instructions to the last compatible owncloud version 7.0.11?

apache was probably installed an enabled:

apt-get --purge remove apache2

Yeah that didn't work. It said apache2 is not installed, so not removed.

What version of ownCloud did you try to upgrade to? The latest version will upgrade php to a version that does not work with Stoneburner.

Give results of this:
dpkg -l | grep php5

I had the impression that upgrading to version 8 was not a good idea with OMV. So I was trying to upgrade to the last version of version 7, I think its 7.0.11. Should I try an even earlier version?

service nginx status

If it is not try to start it and tell me the message you get:

service nginx start

Yes its running no problems. I can see all of the login page and I can log into OMV but after login I only see a blank page. Owncloud works but OMV doesn't.

I ran apt-get update and upgrade and now after login my blank screen shows the below error. It also updated openmediavault and omv-extras.

Your system is looking for CertificateComboBox which is not used any more and was removed. It must be cached somewhere. Run omv-aptclean and clear your browser cache.

I ran omv-aptclean and cleared my browser cache and it still gave the same error. I also tried opening it on another computer and got the same.
