Is there any way to enter the UPS battery date into the UPS plugin? I use this as a gauge for how much longer my battery will last, as well as to determine if I buy the same brand that I did last time.

I don't see a way to update it via the UI. You can update it via upsrw at the command line depending on the UPS driver (I know I can using apcsmart with a Smart-UPS 1400)

I looked at doing it through command line, but couldn't figure out how. I have an SU700. What is upsrw?

Where do you get the name of your UPS? I have tried everything I can find, including 'localhost', and nothing seems to work.

Look in the UPS UI in OMV, it's the second line, the one that says Identifier.

Okay, so I used the name in that field and now it asks for username and password and no combination seems to work. I get ERR PASSWORD-REQUIRED
