Resource limit succeeded Service localhost - add top to message

    I occasionally get the following CPU resource limit notifications...



    Is there any way of adding the top output to the notification to easily identify the process causing the high CPU usage?


    I'm a novice and had a look at /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/monit.d/system but that only allows modification of the thresholds, not the alert message that is triggered.


    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    The process list in the web interface shows the output from top. If the process causing the high cpu usage is still there, you will see it. If not, you probably don't need to worry about it. Otherwise, fill a request here.

    Thanks for the tip but I often get the notifications during times I don't have access to my server so it would be good to get the detail in the notification.
