Hello,
I am using the CUPS plugin on 0.4x. I enabled Airprint functionality, but my devices running iOS6.x do not see the printer. My iMAC does see the Airprint service though. Has anyone run into this problem?
Airprint not seen on iOS6

Same problem here. A fix would be nice, if possible.
But probably the nesseserity for airprint is gone by today for IOS 6.x users -
The issue is related to missing mime types. This fixed it for me! Maybe this can be included in the plugin in the future?

Hi!
I tried it but the restorecon seems to be missing. Any ideas? -
I've got the same problem.
restorecon seems to be missing and when I try to run the airprint-generate.py I get a syntax-error in line 3.
Anyone who has airprint running with ios6 devices ? -
Restorecon is for centos and selinux, ignore that line. I have got the printer to show up but not to print yet. I think airprint needs ipv6 but OMV dissables it That was needed on centos for me..
I started without installing the plugin. One reason the airprint-generate script would not run was I needed to install "apt-get install python-cups". Not sure if the plugin installed that. Had to install a few others too but don't remember off the top.
The othere things I am not sure works is UNIRAST or pdftoraster. I do not see anything of use in error logs.

Well it is not just ipv6. With ipv6 working it still won't print. I can print to it from a centos using the avahi share.
On the ipad, the job seems to go to the OMV box but I am not seeing any errors. If anybody has an idea what to look at I can post the logs. I could also post a tshark capture with the print from Linux and apple ipad.
I can print from the ipad to an Anahi share on the centos box. The config files are the same. So I am thinking it is something missing in OMV, but what?
Thanks,

Ok seems to work now. Does not need ipv6. I used this tutorial as a guide.

I installed a bunch of stuff that was probably not needed too. OMV is a very minimal distribution so lots of stuff is not there. I will post a reduced version when I have time to try again. I changed the names of the files /usr/share/cups/mime/airprint.convs /usr/share/cups/mime/airprint.types to local.convs and local.types. Don't think it really matters as long as the content is there.
I did it without the plugin and just installing cups etc on thier own.
