    You can't rsync to webdav to begin with.

    Have you read this guide - Rsync two OMV machines

    I wouldn't recommend trying this over the internet as a noob. You need to use rsync+ssh to do that and the setup is much more complex.

    You need to know that the [bracketed terms] are optional. When you replace those terms with information, you do not use the brackets.

    So you want user@machinename::modulename

    I assume the user is: pt99999-99999
    I assume the machine: sd2dav
    I assume the module name: syncstuff

    So you would have: pt99999-99999@sd2dav::syncstuff

    How to mount webdav? i don't see it in options in remote mount plugin

    Only the very old OMV 2.x remoteshare plugin allowed you to mount webdav. You can't do it with the remotemount plugin.

    So what a easiest way to upload data from NAS to WebDav server?

    If you have to use webdav, it would have to be done using the command line

    - Mount webdav using davfs2 - https://blog.sleeplessbeastie.…ow-to-mount-webdav-share/
    - Then use rsync or cp or whatever to copy data from a folder to the mount point from above.

    I can not choose correct path becase i can only choose HDD as Device.

    As I mentioned in my post, you have to do this from the command line.

  • I got 40MB/s with rsync and 45MB/s with cp and same with mc when copying from one folder to second folder, both on same HDD. Not to davfs2 yet. ext4 to ext4.
    This is new WD Red 4TB, internal speeds is 147MB/s write and 179MB/s read.
    I understand that copying\reading divides speed in half. But why is it three times slower?

    No problems with speed for qbittorrent ( 60MB/s. Full speed of my internet) and SMB share in home lan. And 115 MB/s when uploading from my PC to NAS.
    But why so slow when copying between internal folders?
