Clone Disk

Hi,

a 1TB hard drive clone one of 2TB, with clonezilla, all good so there.
Stupidly delete the 1TB hard drive.
Now I must return the 2TB disk and want to do the reverse cloned (2TB to 1TB).
But clonezilla mark errors by the size of the smallest disk.
The data stored on the disk 2TB are 800-850GB.
How can I do it?.

Use the advanced mode in clonezilla and enable ICDS.

Also try that option, but still marks an error creating the partition table. Probe different options.
I stay in the end only copy data from disk to disk.

Clonezilla has the clone individual partitions options.

I have a better question, unless it is a System disk, why are you cloning it?

if it is a data disk, copy with rsync or dd would work just as fast, if not faster, and also correct the file fragmentation at the same time.
you obviously can connect both drives at the same time to the system.

so why clone it.
