Changing the port for OMV

  • I was wondering if it is possible to change the port or webroot omv listens on? I want to serve a website from my omv server at example.com I would either like omv to listen for it's web interface at example.com:90 or anyother port or example.com/omv/ or even omv.example.com. I am not sure if this can be accomplished or if doing this would break other plugins. Thanks for any suggestions. A link to a tutorial/guide would be great.

    In General Settings, the first field is the port for OMV's web interface.

    omv 7.0.4-2 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.5 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.10 | compose 7.1.2 | k8s 7.0-6 | cputemp 7.0 | mergerfs 7.0.3

    Please try ctrl-shift-R and read this before posting a question.

    Please put your OMV system details in your signature.

  • If you need to reverse it to the standard Port you can do it by running omv-firstaid from the command line.
