OMV Sensors Plugin for 3.0

  • If the omv-extras are activated, then install the openmediavault-sensors 3.0 extension.
On my System only CPU-Temp is monitored.

    *future backup system*
    OMV 3.0.96 (Erasmus) -
    Linux 4.9.0-0.bpo.4-amd64
    Core2Quad Q8200 @2,33 GHz | 6 GB
    Intel SSD 320 40GB System |
    6x2TB WD-Red Raid5

    *replacement under construction*
    OMV 3.0.96 (Erasmus) -
    Linux 4.9.0-0.bpo.4-amd64
    i3-2120 @ 3,30 GHz | 8 GB
    Sandisk SSD 126GB System | 3x6TB WD-Red Raid5

  • I installed the plugin but the temperature is stable at 30°C core 1 at 45 and core 2 at 40°C

even while doing transcoding and cpu working at 95%

Would it be that it's not able to read the data from my system, or would it be something else ?

also fan speed isn't working, but it's not really important.

    thank you

  • Please execute in shell
    sudo omv-mkconf sensors

It would be nice if the things being monitored were displayed on the system information overview under processor.

Someone (not me) could write a widget that would show that info. It wouldn't be in the system info widget but you could still easily see it. I wouldn't put it in the actual system info since not every device has supported sensors.
