(Do not) Autoshutdown if pyload is doin´ sth

  • Hello,

    me again ;)
    After Solo told me how to update the autoshutdown plugin manually (thanks!) it works very good.
    There is only one problem left. Atm it shuts my N40L down even if pyload is running.

    Is there a way to check if pyload is downloading or unpacking sth. ..?
    Something like "if my N40L detects there is a download via eth0 over 20kb/s" do a new autoshutdown cyle... :mrgreen:

    Thanks in advance!

    Its on the way. I'm too lazy to write it in english again ;) More, when it's ready ...

  • Ja Solo dein 0815 hinter´m Namen hast du definitiv zu unrecht! ;)

    >>Me too, only said that Solo is awesome, said it would be the perfect solution and he shall release it or i´ll come to him and release it by myself, etc. Hope it´ll get ready soon ;)

  • So, it's ready to test ;)

    See here for the manual installation-HowTo.
    Please don't forget to set

    Code
    ULDLCHECK="true"
    ULDLRATE=20

    in your OMV-Autoshutdown-Gui under "Extra-Settings"
    The ULDLRATE is the rate in kB/s for the traffic. If the Traffic over the last x seconds (Sleep-time in autoshutdown) is ...
    - under this value, your PC shuts down (when all other checks are negative after x cycles)
    - over this value, no shutdown -> new check after x seconds

    I don't think a separate upload- and download-rate setting is necessary, just set it to your lowest needed kB/s and it should work.
