mysqldump: command not found

  • Now that my FTP backup works like a charm I want to also start backing up my databases that are running on PhpMyAdmin on a popular web hosting service.

However, I can't figure out why I can't run the mysqldump function out of a scheduled task.

Whenever I try to run the task it says: bash: mysqldump: command not found

Normally, it isn't installed on a system not running a mysql server. The client package has it - apt-get install mysql-client-5.5
