It would be nice to know which plugins can be upgraded from omv2 to omv3 and which plugins should we first unistall and the upgrade to omv 3

Wo kann ich da vergleiche welche meiner 2.x Plugins auch unter 3.x funktionhieren? Ich kann da nur auswählen ob ich für 2.x oder 3. Plugins suche.

In dem du nachschaust ob von dir verwendete Plugins für V3 Verfügbar ist (remote share ist jetzt Remote mount)

Best practice is to make copy of your SYS HDD, run it in virtual environment and then upgrade. You will see by your own what you should do to minimize risk.
Most OMV 2 plugins are not ported to OMV 3 or 4. You can compare available plugin from your main OMV 2 installation with those available in virtualized OMV 3 or 4 installation. -

It makes no sense now to discuss about plugins for omv 4 because it is in a very early development phase, even debian 9 "stretch" is still beta
