[Noob question] OMV in rbp3 shares over WiFi network?

Hi guys! I'm totally totally new on this of OMV, I'm very interested in buy a NAS but today I discover omv :eek: :eek: I want to doit with a raspberry 3, but I have a great question, this "NAS" can work over my WiFi network? Can share my files to another raspberry 3 with libreelec via WiFi? Or only work for wired networks?

If the Ethernet link is connected to the same wifi router that provides wifi then yes shouldn't be a problem. Btw a rpi is a great choice for media center but poor choice for nas. Look on the forum there are plenty of arm low power boards that can do a much better job in terms of performance than a rpi.

I have a Raspi3 serving the files over Wifi - no problem at all.

Maybe a tad faster than wired: 5.1 MB/s versus 4.6 MB/s

Which is both awfully slow as @subzero79 writes.
