Hi,
I recently swapped a 2GB HDD with a 4GB in my HP MicroServer G(, when it was nearly full.
What I did was:
- Pulled out all the HDDs, except the one to swap.
- Created a share for the remaining HDD
- Made a backup with rsync (in archive mode) to the new HDD
- Removed old HDD from pool, adding the new one.
- Plugging all HDDs back in
On first glance, this seemed to work, on my mac via SMB/CIFS I see the pool, stating 2TB free space, as expected.
However, I ran into a problem, when copying large files to the pool.
On my mac it says: (sorry, probably translated badly from German )
ZitatYou don't have read permission for the folder.
I can change / delete files on my share over SMB, however I can't add anything beyond the original disk's size.
What have I done wrong?
Many thanks in advance!
