-I think since my update to 4.x- plex does not start anymore.

So, I see two problems here:
1) the invalid enviroment assignments
2) it tries to run /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex -which does not exist
I am sure it should run "/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex Media Server" instead.
What's odd:
plexmediaserver.conf in /etc/init runs /usr/sbin/start_pms. When I run this manually, all is good and Plex runs.
Any Idea, why the behaviour is different when running it in the init script?
