Setting up a slave configuration using the NUT plugin

Are there any plans to include in the Network UPS Tools plugin the option to shut down the machine from a remote UPS (i.e. a slave configuration). As it currently stands, it would appear difficult to configure NUT to do this manually without installing it independently of OMV, because in order to enable NUT in the OMV interface, a working local UPS configuration needs to be supplied.
