S.M.A.R.T. Tests and Notifications

I have enabled some S.M.A.R.T scheduled tests and have also enabled notification for S.M.A.R.T. tests.

My questions are is there supposed to be any routine output from OMV about the outcome of these tests and are notifications routinely sent?

Or will I never hear from OMV about any of this unless there is a problem?

If I send a test message from the Notifications page it works.

I think that's how smartmontools works in this case.
