I installed Open Media Vault and at first everything worked well.
Unfortunately I used the Wipe it in Physical Drives option and now the divice won't start and I can't connect.
It was probably the silliest thing I could ever do, but the question is if it can be undone, restored somehow.
My device is iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive Cloud Edition 1TB.
You wiped the os drive? You will have to reinstall if you did.
Yes, I probably did that. Can you help me out with the reinstallation, I haven't got the clue how it should be done...

I already tried it earlier (the link that you sent me)
I prepared my USB stick in windows and I think I did this according to Recovery (Home Media CE)
I guess I might have done sth wrong, because the iomega didn't react when I did everything as the procedure said
It always stars in the same way and at the end the red light is on all the time
Definitely need a serial console cable. I have one for my ix2-dl and it makes thing much easier.

That's strange because the WebGUI shoulöd prevent you from wiping the root device, the button should be disabled in this case.
It is an ARM device. Maybe the root device is reported differently??
