Installation of Let's Encrypt renewed certificate

  • Hello,
my first Let's Encrypt certificate expired and I had to renew it. Auto-renewal failed because I had port 80 disabled in nginx (my fault) but when I enabled it again I triggered a renewal and it worked. My problem is that the renewed certificate did not get installed in the OMV certificates section, so I had to manually add it by copy/pasting the certificate's data, then going to the nginx configuration and switching certificate to the new one.
Is this how things are supposed to go? Or is it supposed to update itself also in OMV and nginx configuration without me doing anything all the time?

  • HI,

I have done the same steps a few days ago and asking me the same question... ;)
