If you're on x86 you don't need the sed line(s) and I don't know whether you need to install kernel headers or not (web search for 'debian 9 install kernel headers' should give you an answer)

I've updated to kernel 4.16 since on 4.14 it was not finding the headers..... now I've tried to perform all the steps but it hang on
