Extra kernels showing on startup

  • Hi guys...
    I have an installation that is on a flash drive and in OMV that is now showing as below. It is showing as being installed on sde1. I also have extra kernels showing on startup but refering to sda1?
    Does anyone know how to proceed....have tried removing extra kernels and the ones showing below do not come up....just wonder if it is a mix up with harddrive allocation that is causing this....

    Do you have an old OMV system drive attached to your system?

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    Grub is finding a previous grub install and/or kernel on the /dev/sda 500GB drive. If there is no data on the drive, I would wipe it. otherwise, wipefs can probably fix it.
