Context: It all started because I couldn't upgrade my emby server to the newest version. From my research it didn't look like I could use the old docker container and point it to the newer emby image, so I deleted both the old image and container and started fresh.
What have I done thus far...
- Pulled the newer docker image of embyserver
- Created a new container from the image in step1.
- Set the original UID/GID/GLIST (dockeruser)
- Designated the old hostfile path and config to the original locations
- Recursively deleted all the contents at the original hostfile path (/home/dockUser/.config/emby)
