Can't install Midnight Commander anymore

i was able to install Midnight Commander on my testings, today i installed OMV4 on main server and try to install MC (sudo apt-get install mc) but i get this message E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

sorry i am not a linux expert, that why i am asking for help ...because i do not know what to do

i think i fix it, i run sudo dpkg --configure -a and did some settings and i was able to install MC after that

I get that. I am just asking you to confirm that dpkg --configure is telling you to run dpkg --configure again.

ya but i did not know what command to type, that why i asked for help, i am still learning .. ;), baby steps for me please
