Hi guys,
i am new to this forum and i really hope you can help me. Searching the web and this forum i did not found a solution for my issue.
I run OMV 3.0.94 (Erasmus) with linux 4.9.0-0.bpo.4-amd64 Kernel. I ve bought a new external USB HDD. When i want to make a backup, i do not have usb 3.0 speed. My transfer rates are only 5mb/s.
But why?
Is it necessary to install some drivers? Can you help me to find a solution?
I've already checked lspci -nnk | grep "USB controller" -A2
with output:
Code
00:14.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 8 Series/C220 Series Chipset Family USB xHCI [8086:8c31] (rev 05)
Subsystem: ASRock Incorporation Device [1849:8c31]
Kernel driver in use: xhci_hcd

Subsystem: ASRock Incorporation Device [1849:8c2d]
Kernel driver in use: ehci-pci

But i it means nothing to me. I've read that some outputs say you have to load a module in nano /etc/modules^ but when i add xhci_hcd or ehci_pci nothing changes.
Thanks so far.
