      Hi there:
I'm completely new to OMV(I don't even know where I should go to see that command line interface), just bought an odroid hc1 and got OMV running on it.
As soon as I tried to run updates it gives the following error message:

      >> *************** Error ***************

dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

I have no clue what I should do to fix this, and it's the same if I try to install any plugins too. Can anyone help? If you need more info just let me know.
      Thank you in advance!!!
    • Either investigate "putty", "SSH" and enable remote root access using SSH. That is one way to get to the command line.

      ... or just reinstall.

Make sure you have a really good and fresh SD card and that the HC1 is connected to the Internet. You may have to reinstall many times. I found out early that having two cards helped. Then I could clone the card as a backup, and I didn't have to restart from scratch.

Locate the documentation and the video guides. And read/watch.

    • Try to upgrade the packages via CLI.

      # apt-get upgrade

      I will face my fear.

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

    • Really appreciate the help guys! I did a clean install and this time waited longer for the OS to settle in before making any changes.
I'm now able to install packages and updates.(But I did notice I can't choose to install too many things at once, a few items per restart was a safe bet for me.)
