VPN plugin

  • Hi I have just recently joined a new VPN subscriber unfortunately they don't have a Linux app I canan use from the command prompt. Is there a generic one I can use from the built it plugins?.

What provider did you go with (maybe someone here uses them and can offer some pointers)...

That said... most of the VPN's I've seen support openvpn which is pretty easy to install on Linux. Depending on what you want to use the VPN for (ie, downloading Torrents) you could even look at the Transmission + VPN docker (which I really like).

Look on their site for openvpn files, then use your Google foo on how to install and configure openvpn from the command line. There's also an OpenVPN plugin, if you want to try going that route (I've never used it so I'm not sure how well it works).

Sorry can't be more specific than that, as your question is vague.
