Nginx + DokuWiki

  • After using OMV for a few months I'm amazed how good it is and how well it runs! It is rock solid on my hardware, Lenovo T430 (yes, I run it on old spare laptop, and it is great!).

Now I would like to run Nginx + DokuWiki on it. I have Nginx (from OMV plugin), and wanted to install DokuWiki from Debian repository. And here is my problem: jessie and buster have `dokuwiki` package in their repository, but there is no `dokuwiki` package for stretch. :(

Before I go down the rabbit hole of manual compilation and config, I would like to ask 2 questions:

    1. Should I reasonably expect that buster `dokuwiki` package will work on current OMV (right now it is 4.1-21)?
    2. If not, should I reasonably expect DokuWiki to work if I follow their instructions (there are instructions specific for Debian).

I can manage around CLI with enough instructions, but not enough for fix installation/configuration problems myself...

    Thank you for your help!
