Failed to read file /tmp/ (...)

  • Hello,

I had an issue with my NAS and the USB drive needed to be formatted.
As such, i went on the website and downloaded the latest version (4.1.3)..

Immediatelly i started to have problems.
Erros like this are several and i cannot even mount the filesystems, as it is constantly anoying with the error and the yellow banner.

I've read a lot on the forums and on Google, and i've followed the tips that said that upgrading was the way...
The version is now "4.19.0-0bpo.4-amd64", but the issues remain.

I can't do anything, and i'm not the most skilled linux user, so....

    Help plz.. :/:/

Looks like you installed without a network connection which means you have no configured repos.

Please don't PM for support... Too many PMs!

  • Not really, i have it hardwired to a gigabit connection.
But it doesn't matter, after 4 re-installs, finally it recognized the repos, and finally i could update.

After i updated, it broke again....
So i reverted to the previous kernel, and it stopped the warnings..

So, it's all good for now.. I think.
