Snapraid tools

  • Hello,

can someone tell me the difference between the snapraid omv gui commands:

    snapraid fix
    vs.
    snapraid undelete

are these commands the same on shell:

    snapraid fix
    vs.
    snapraid fix -m

What are the technical differences or limitations between them?

    Thanks a lot

  • I don't think so. You should be able to pgrep and kill it from a terminal using the kill command. That's one of the reasons I prefer to manage snapraid through a terminal. Another being that after a long period of time the web session can timeout so you come back and you can't see what snapraid is doing even though the process will still be running on the machine. I know you can make it so the web session doesn't timeout, but I still prefer the terminal for this.
