You can delete backups from the GUI of UrBackup.
Do not delete them on the filesystem directly as this will corrupt the database of UrBackup.

Recently iv installed urback up but have noticed it backup my windows 10 laptop the the MEDIA folder by default in which im guessing is in the boot drive of openmedia vault.
This is probably the root cause of the filled boot drive.. By default, Urbackup stores backups to OMV's boot drive.
In setting Urbackup up, the first thing to do is move Urbackup's storage folder to a data drive. This can be done in UrBackup's GUI.

General Rules of Thumb;
- I dedicate a hard drive to the client backup task. (3TB)
In my case, I'm using an EXT4 formatted drive for this purpose. IMO, it doesn't make sense to add client backups to a folder in the servers data store, where they may be backed-up for a 3rd rime.
- As a preventative measure, to keep client backups reasonable in size, data stored on a client should be for local short term use. Otherwise, move it to the server.
- I don't use a client to backup a server's data store. This creates a condition where the server's data backup, on the client, becomes part of the client backup. This will quickly fill a 3TB drive. If you have this kind of set up, the servers backed up data, on the client, should be excluded in the client's Urbackup software connector.
