Is it possible to change mount options for filesystems?

  • Hello,

    I would like to change the mount options of a filesystem in OMV.
    Is that possible?
    Of course, I could edit fstab, but then OMV would revert that change regularly.

    Greetings,
    Hendrik

    Yes. Edit the opts element of the mntent section of /etc/openmediavault/config.xml and then execute omv-mkconf fstab

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

    Please try ctrl-shift-R and read this before posting a question.

    Please put your OMV system details in your signature.
    Please don't PM for support... Too many PMs!

    I am able to edit the XML, but sadly "omv-mkconf fstab" is no longer a command for OpenMediaVault 5. Do you happen to know what the replacement for this is? Or will a reboot do the same thing?
