No disc detection after power off

  • Hi,
two weeks ago I was abroad for holiday. When leaving homw, I turned all fuses in my flat off - and forgot to shutdown my Banana Pi Nas based on OMV.
When I turned it on again yesterday, my Banana Pi couldn't find my attached USB 4TB WD drive.
On the admin panel the disc even didn't exist.

The drive is attached using a powered USB hub.
    lsusb shows:

    root@bananapi:~# lsusb
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

The HDD is rotating and my 7-port USB-hub is connected to my Banana Pi.
    What else could I check?

  • Using another USB-port on the USB-hub it shows:
    root@bananapi:~# lsusb
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 1058:25a1 Western Digital Technologies, Inc. <<<<<<<<<<<<<---------------------------
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

    Now it works, again.
    Looks like one USB-port died...
