Server stalling

    I was having a problem with my server stalling for which I created this thread. I decided it must have been due to a failing USB drive (which was used as the root drive). I made a clone of it on another drive. Everything was working fine for about 2 weeks when suddenly the server stalled again. This time I can't find any logs in the syslog or messages. Any suggestions where I could look for this problem?

    Before I did anything else, I'd do a fresh rebuild. Even the most minor corruption, on the boot drive, can have inexplicable effects. Also of note is that cloning corrupted software, to a healthy drive, doesn't fix corrupted software.
