/tmp full urbackup

  • Hi all.
    I have a problem with the /tmp.
    /tmp have 2 GB.
I need to reboot every 2 days because /tmp is full.
When i navigate to see all file, i see an urbackup tmp file about 2 Gb. When the tmp is full, openmediavault does not work correctly.
    After reboot all is ok.

Is it possible to resize the /tmp ?

  • I had a similar problem using omv as storage server for veem backup. Veem use /tmp since it is full. The simple solution i use is a cron job that clear /tmp and it seems ok.

    Check the manual of UrBackup.

    https://www.urbackup.org/administration_manual.html

    If you are using zfs:
First setup the server such that the temporary directory (/tmp) is on a sufficiently large performantfile system.

If you are on ext4 you can disable use of /tmp in the GUI of UrBackup
The server downloads the file into a temporary file. This temporary file is either in the urbackup_tmp_files folder in the backup storage dir, or, if you enabled it in the advanced settings, in the temporary folder.

At least, that is what I understand from the manual.
