Why RAID?
If you want to copy data within the server you can
- cp command from the command line (or mv)
- set up a rsync job and run it manually - everything in the GUI of OMV
- use midnight commander (mc) from the CLI - install mc with apt install mc

Thank you very much for the clarification, I would like to move all the contents of the sharefolder folder, so I have to do mv sharefolder to sdb .... or do I have to create another sharefolder inside the new raid and then move only the internal sharefolder folders?I also have the disk where OMV is installed of 500GB that reduce it I tried with partedmagic but it does not make me decrease it, there is some other way to decrease it to 100 GB without losing the data inside! ??!?!? thanks a lot

Two options:
- Move the folder to the new disk and then create a new share which is pointing at the folder at the new disk.
- Create a new shared folder on the new disk and then move the data into that new folder. If you want to use rsync this is the way to go. I would recommend to do it like this. You can do everything from the GUI, no need for CLI.
If you want to remove the old disks, make sure to delete all shared folders on that disk. Same for the old RAID. Otherwise, OMV will complain.

You can only resize the partition when it is not mounted. As this is the OS drive you have to boot another live distro like gparted.
Make sure to have a backup. -

You should really do it from the GUI of OMV, not from the CLI.
Create a new shared folder and then set up a rsync job to sync the older folder with the new folder. When doing this the content inside the old folder is being copied inside the new folder.
I just wanted to know if I have to create another sharefolder folder
No. The "sharedfolder" folder is a system folder from OMV. Don't touch it.

Thanks, but then how do I move the pointer to the new data folder since there are two equal and when can I delete it? Sorry but I'm a newbie !!!

Give the new folder a different name. If the old shared folder is "media" name the new shared folder "media_" or something similar.
After you have run the rsync job check that all the files and directories are there.
Then you need to remove the old shared folder from all services and add the new shared folder instead.
After that you can delete the old shared folder. When doing so you have to options- Only delete the reference (shared folder)
- delete the reference (shared folder) and the content

Thank youuuuu!!!!
