    • Debian Scretch and OMV

      Hi all,

      I have done this steps:

      1. apt upgrade && apt update
      2. apt install --yes apt-transport-https
      3. cat <<EOF >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
      4. deb arrakis main
      5. # deb arrakis main
      6. ## Uncomment the following line to add software from the proposed repository.
      7. # deb arrakis-proposed main
      8. # deb arrakis-proposed main
      9. ## This software is not part of OpenMediaVault, but is offered by third-party
      10. ## developers as a service to OpenMediaVault users.
      11. # deb arrakis partner
      12. # deb arrakis partner
      13. EOF
      14. export LANG=C
      15. export DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive
      16. export APT_LISTCHANGES_FRONTEND=none
      17. wget -O "/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/openmediavault-archive-keyring.asc"
      18. apt-key add "/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/openmediavault-archive-keyring.asc"
      19. apt --allow-unauthenticated install openmediavault-keyring
      20. apt update
      Display All
on a fresh install of Debian Scretch. After i run this command

      1. apt-get --yes --auto-remove --show-upgraded --allow-downgrades --allow-change-held-packages --no-install-recommends --option Dpkg::Options::="--force-confdef" --option DPkg::Options::="--force-confold" install postfix openmediavault

      I'm getting this error

      Source Code

      1. Errors were encountered while processing:
      2. resolvconf
      3. openmediavault
      4. E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

      What's wrong?

OK, there is full output from the install command.
Let me guess, you install a desktop environment? resolvconf (dependency of openmediavault) failed to install because it couldn't make changes. This makes me think networkmanager is running.
