I have a maybe silly question I couldn't find an satisfying answer for:
I installed OpenVPN on my OMV and it runs smoothly on Port 1994.
I access my OMV internally via the web gui without https/ssl. I'm the only user in my network.
Now, after setting up OpenVPN, I thought about activating https via the letsencrypt plugin to improve security.
Wait a minute - isn't this something completely different? Does this have anything to do with the VPN security?
Do I even need to think about https or is it only for internal network communication (again I'm the only user)?
I know that I'm mixing something up here but I can't find out what and how.
