Hi I am trying to make a own NAS with openmediavault and I tried this more than 20times and I never saw it working. Little disappointing. Hope that my experience become better in the future. For now I am trying to follow this:

try to disconnect all disk except boot disk and liveUSB, then do the install, this time must work, revise that boot normally, then reconnect data disk and check again.

Wipe the drive from the GUI of OMV. But be aware that all data on the drive will be lost.

My reaction before is solved. I forgot to restart with disks. So now it is creating the raid Mirror.

Glad you solved your issue, but why do you use RAID?
My thoughts about... RAID
