Login problem

  • Hello,
    I have a problem logging in to www.
    After entering the login and password, the following error occurs

    Code
    Error #0:
    OMV\HttpErrorException: Invalid IP address. in /usr/share/php/openmediavault/session.inc:185
    Stack trace:
    #0 /usr/share/php/openmediavault/session.inc(207): OMV\Session->validateIpAddress()
    #1 /var/www/openmediavault/index.php(34): OMV\Session->validate()
    #2 {main}

    Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

    My configuration:
    Raspberry Pi 4 B (4GB)
    Raspbian Buster with desktop (Release date: 2019-09-26)
    OMV is version 5.0.10-1

    Raspbian Buster with desktop

    We recommend against having a desktop environment installed due to problems it can cause with OMV. I would also try clearing your browser cache.

    I guess your browser is doing something strange to spoof or hide the REMOTE_ADDR. Are you connecting through a firewall/port forwarding?

  • No, I just go to the website and try to log in.
    The same problem occurs on all computers in the local network.
    three chrome browsers and IE and one Opera

    can add IP to exceptions for input and output. But I don't know where to do it

    can add IP to exceptions for input and output.

    This isn't an OMV problem. Your browser is reporting a different IP address than the system connecting to OMV. What are the IP addresses of the computer on the network? I have never seen this issue.

  • Hello everyone

    I resurrect this thread because I am currently facing the exact same problem.

    The OMV GUI log in page successfully load when I type in my domain name but when I try to log in there is this very same error as andrzej.

    I tried on several browser and it didn't work on Firefox or Brave but it did on Edge.

    It's seems to be a browser issue, but I can't find a way to make Firefox work on this.

    Does anybody know something about some Firefox deep settings that I can ajust ?

    I followed this once, the solution may be here https://www.privacytools.io/browsers/#about_config

    Thanks
