can t mount usb key

  • Hi, an another probleme with an usb key:

    So I can t mount it (NTFS). But If I format with omv, it s OK (ext4)....but the system doesn t work windows after.
    Have you an idea please?

    If you need to use the USB memory in both Windows and Linux you need to use a filesystem that both can use. EXT4 can not be used by windows. ExFAT can not be used by Linux.


    FAT32 or NTFS can be used by both. Usually.

  • Before update OMV:
    My usb key (ntfs) can mount because I use Rsync To transfert files. When I plug the key, I have not message To Cli.
    Now, I update OMV. I want To use a external HDD (NTFS). Works on Windows. But impossible To mount it. See the error screen.
    I have only one Linux system
