can I just copy the data from my nextcloud to another disk and change the destination in the container?
Yes, should work. Make sure permissions are the same.
But you can just copy (not move) the folder and set up a new set of container. If it does not work you can easily revert.
Thanks for your advice Macom
All work !
copy source folder of nextcloud to destination with this command :
create a new share folder for destination
use cp -rRp /sharedfolders/Nextcloud_original/. /sharedfolders/nextcloud_destination/
Copy my docker container in the gui
check port forwarding because the gui don't copy
change the host path
start the container
Just one hint: you should use the pull path like /srv/dev-disk-by-label... instead of /sharedfolders/
Cannot create shared folder on new or existing drive
hey thanks for this information !
in recent times when I had a little time I had fun playing with a switch layer 3, vlan, acl etc and I have less OMV track on the forum ... I had not seen the info! I had a lot of trouble to create this sharefolder indeed, I will do the necessary to go through /srv
Macom your help is really appreciate, thank you!
